Words on Fire Writing Workshop

Upon the request of many families, I'm offering Words on Fire Writing Workshop during the school year to give students writing instruction, structure and motivation to write, and social interaction with fellow young writers.

• Open to teens entering grades 6 and up

• Bi-monthly 1.5 hour group Zoom meeting, part teaching and part story sharing. Sunday mornings 9:30-11 a.m. CST

• Individual written feedback by Alice on three pages of writing per student after each session.

The workshop will focus on gaining writing skills through story writing, focusing on different elements each week, including "big picture" elements such as plotting and "small picture" elements such as showing, not telling. Price is $50 per session per student.
